of American society. We rely on you for protection,
safety, and representation. The
American Red Cross of Southwest Louisiana offers
military personnel the Armed Forces Emergency Services

Military enlistment brings not only discipline and pride,
but also family separation. At times, emergencies occur
and communication is necessary. Open 24 hours a day,

Financial assistance is another area in which we can
help you. The Red Cross coordinates with military aid
societies to provide funding for armed forces personnel
and their families in emergency situations such as travel,
burial, health, shelter, and food.
The American Red Cross of Southwest Louisiana offers
assistance in applying for leaves, reassignments, and
hardship discharges. We can also inform you of health
services that you are entitled to as a serviceman and
can help you understand personal benefits that are provided
for you. The American Red Cross of Southwest Louisiana
is also educated and experienced in the area of veteran
