Disaster Services in Southwest Louisiana

Disaster can strike at any moment and at any place. The American Red Cross of Southwest Louisiana exists to help people prevent, prepare for, and cope with disaster. We communicate and operate with government, business, labor unions, religious and community organizations, and other volunteer agencies to ensure that disaster is not permanent. As a member of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (NVOAD), the American Red Cross of Southwest Louisiana comes in contact with agencies that share in our same goals. Working together with others enables the Red Cross to obtain the information, goods and services that will most extensively meet the needs of disaster victims and increase our ability to respond.
