We will offer CPR for Restaurants on Septemebr 13th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. This course is designed for restaurant workers. Focus will be on emergency situation in the workplace. A 10% discount will be given to those workers who present their work i.d./badge at the time of registraion.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING::
LEARNING OBJECTIVES • Understand the value of behaving in a professional manner. • Recognize an aquatic emergency, and act promptly an appropriately. • Perform equipment-based rescue skills and techniques used by lifeguards. • Recognize and care for possible spinal injury. • Learn how to recognize and respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies in infants, children, and adults. • Learn the role of the professional rescuer in providing emergency care. PREREQUISITES These prerequisites are done at the start of class. One (1) attempt is given to successfully complete them. Should a student fail to complete the following prerequisites he/she will automatically fail the course and no monies paid are refundable. • Minimum age of 15 by the last session of the class. • Swim 300 yards continuously as follows: 300 yard swim with 100 yards of front crawl, 100 yards of breast stroke and 100 yards of either. • For breaststroke the skill must be demonstrated using a pull, breathe, kick and glide sequence. • 20 yards back and forth swim with surface dive ( while in the water) to retrieve a 10-pound object from a depth of 7-10 feet in 1:40. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Successfully complete all written exams with a minimum score of 80%. • Successfully perform and complete all skills and skills scenarios. • Attend all classes. No exceptions. Missed sessions cannot be made up. Fees • Course fee of $250 includes all necessary textbooks. • NO REFUNDS will be given after the class and prerequisites. There will be a 20% administrative charge for any refunds given prior to the start of the class and prerequisites.



ULTIMATE BABYSITTER TRAINING
The purpose of this two(2) day American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course is to provide individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism; basic care; safety and safe play; Adult, Child, Infant CPR and first aid.
